We started ScriptLab because we'd all spent enough time inside agencies watching good projects go wrong for the same handful of reasons — scope nobody wrote down, a delivery team who'd never met the client, and a price that moved.

We're a software studio in Cape Town with TODO: X years of combined experience across web, mobile, backend and AI development. We work locally and internationally — a small business in Woodstock and a company in Rotterdam get the same team.

A few things are always true here. Nobody's project gets handed to a junior. The person who quotes you is the person who builds it. And we can't take on everything, so we're honest early about what we're right for.

Our rates are lower than an equivalent European or US team, which is a consequence of geography rather than a comment on quality. Our timezone overlaps Europe completely and the US East Coast for most of the working day.

And we guarantee the work. If we don't deliver what we agreed, you don't pay for it.
