BESPOKE BUSINESS SYSTEMS
Custom Software Development
Software shaped around how your business actually works, rather than a subscription you bend your business to fit.
Most businesses reach us at the same moment: a process has outgrown the spreadsheet, and the off-the-shelf tool that was supposed to replace it only does two-thirds of the job.
That gap is expensive. It gets filled by someone copying data between systems, a shared inbox nobody owns, or a rule that only one person knows. It works until that person is on leave.
We build the thing that closes the gap. Internal management systems, customer and supplier portals, booking and scheduling platforms, reporting dashboards, and the workflow tools that connect them. Software that matches your process rather than a generic version of it — which matters most in exactly the places where your business is different from your competitors', because that difference is usually the reason customers choose you.
We also build the parts nobody sees. API design, database architecture, authentication and permissions, integrations with the systems you already run, background jobs, and deployment. You won't be asked to care about any of it, but it's where a system that lasts five years differs from one that's rewritten in eighteen months.

Fit check
Is this the right service for you?
This is for you if
- A process in your business runs on a spreadsheet nobody fully trusts
- Your team retypes the same data into two different systems
- The off-the-shelf tool does most of what you need but not the important part
- You're paying per-seat for software where you only use one feature
- Something only works because one specific person knows how
This probably isn't for you if
- An existing product does the job properly — we'll tell you if we think one does
- You need it in three weeks
- The requirements change every time we discuss them, and nobody can decide
- You're a founder building a product to sell to others — that's SaaS & MVP Development
How it works
How it works
-
Discovery
We sit with the people who do the work, not just the person paying for it. Half of what we find is never in the brief.
-
Architecture
Data model, integration points, permissions. Written down, in language you can check.
-
Prototype
Clickable screens before anything is built. This is where expensive misunderstandings get caught cheaply.
-
Build
Weekly demos on staging. Built in the order that delivers usable value first.
-
Rollout
Migration, training, and a parallel-run period where the old process stays available.
Typical timeline Eight to sixteen weeks, depending on how many systems it touches.
FAQ
FAQ
Who owns the code?
You do. Repository, servers, domains, all of it in your name from day one. Leaving us should be easy.
What happens when we need changes later?
Small changes are quoted as they come up. If you want ongoing capacity we'll agree a monthly block of hours — but we won't make that a condition of building it.
Can you work with our existing developer or IT provider?
Yes, and often do. We'll write documentation to a standard someone else can pick up, because being replaceable is part of doing this honestly.
What if we're not sure what we need yet?
That's normal. The first conversation is free and often the most useful part — several people have left it deciding not to build anything, which was the right answer.

You don't need a specification. A description of what's annoying is enough to start.
