BESPOKE BUSINESS SYSTEMS
FROM IDEA TO LAUNCH
SaaS & MVP Development
Getting a product in front of real users fast enough to learn something, without building foundations you'll have to tear up.
Most products die from one of two opposite causes. They're built so thoroughly that the money runs out before anyone outside the company uses them. Or they're built so cheaply that the first fifty real users break them and the whole thing is rewritten.
The job is finding the version in between: small enough to ship this quarter, solid enough that version two is an extension rather than a restart.
That starts with cutting. Most MVP briefs we see contain three products. We'll help you find the single feature that proves whether this should exist, and argue for postponing the rest — including features you're attached to. That conversation is the most valuable thing we do on these projects.
Then we build it properly. Authentication, subscriptions and billing, multi-tenancy, an admin view that lets you see what users are doing, and the analytics to answer the question the MVP exists to ask. The infrastructure is unglamorous and it's exactly what gets skipped by the cheapest quote you'll receive.
We work with founders and with established businesses launching something adjacent to what they already do. Both get the same thing: a working product, on a timeline you can raise against or budget for, with the technical decisions documented so your eventual in-house team isn't inheriting a mystery.

Fit check
Is this the right service for you?
This is for you if
- You have an idea that needs to exist before anyone can judge it
- You're raising, and need something real to show
- You're an established business launching a product adjacent to your main one
- You've got a clear first user in mind and can describe their problem in a sentence
- You intend to hire developers later and want foundations they won't curse
This probably isn't for you if
- You need everything in version one — that's not an MVP, it's a product, and it should be priced as one
- You can't name the single thing the first version has to prove
- Your budget assumes the build is the only cost — hosting, support and iteration follow immediately
- You're automating an internal process rather than selling a product — that's Custom Software Development
How it works
How it works
-
Shape
What is this proving, for whom, and what's the smallest version that proves it. Expect us to push back here.
-
Plan
Architecture, stack, hosting, and what each costs at ten users and at ten thousand.
-
Prototype
Clickable, testable, in front of potential users before a line of production code.
-
Build
Two-week cycles, demo at the end of each. Scope is held; priority can move.
-
Launch
Deploy, instrument, monitor.
-
Learn
Two weeks of watching real usage, then an honest conversation about what to build next — including, sometimes, nothing.
Typical timeline Ten to twenty weeks to a launched first version.
FAQ
FAQ
Will you take equity instead of fees?
No. It complicates the relationship and makes us a worse advisor — we'd stop telling you to cut features. We'll work to a realistic budget and phase the build instead.
What if we want to bring it in-house later?
Good — that's usually the right outcome. Everything is in your name from the start and we write handover documentation as a deliverable, not a favour.
Can you help with the pitch deck or the fundraising?
We'll help with the technical sections and the cost modelling. Not the fundraising itself; that isn't our trade.
What stack will you use?
Whatever fits the product and the people who'll maintain it. We'll explain the choice and its trade-offs before building, not after.

Describe the idea.
Rough is fine. The first conversation is free, and the most useful thing in it is usually what we suggest leaving out.
